History for 2013 Feb 9th

Entry Fee: 5K pre entry is $10 until Wed Feb 6, 2013 at 3 pm. 5K Race day entry is $20. The Fun Run is FREE for ONLINE ENTRY ONLY. Fun Run is $5 on race day. For mail in entries, make checks payable to Milestone Race Authority and mail to 10518 Fort George Rd, Jacksonville Fl 32226. Sorry, no refunds.

Course: A lollipop out and back along Plantation Oaks Blvd.

Amenities: Free T Shirts to first 1500 pre-registered entrants of the 5K. The Fun Run is free with no shirt. Optional shirt purchase is $5. Youth sizes are available. Late and race day entrants are not guaranteed a T Shirt.

Timing: The race will be timed and scored by Jaguar Timing Systems electronic bib tag. Your entry fee covers the cost of the disposable chip which does not need to be returned. Bib MUST be worn on the front chest to be scored electronically. Please do not fold the microprocessor.

The Fun Run is NOT chip timed.

Packet Pick Up: Friday from 5pm to 7pm at Oakleaf HS. For Race Day pick up, please arrive early to avoid lines.

5K Awards: Top three overall male and female and top three Masters. Sunny Bucks from the Jacksonville Running Company.

5K Age Groups: Top Three Male and Female in 14 & under, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 and over. Sunny Bucks from the Jacksonville Running Company. Awards presentation will follow conclusion of the main event.

Fun Run Awards: Ribbons to all Fun Run finishers plus school participation prize money as follows: GOLD $250 to top 5 elementary schools; SILVER $200 to 6^th through 10^th place schools; BRONZE $125 to 11^th through 16th

Additional Awards: Raffles including Road ID gift and merchant certificates

Results: Results will be posted near the finish line within minutes of the conclusion of the race and on the internet at www.milestoneraceauthority.com. Include your cell phone carrier and receive INSTANT SMS text message of your race time.

Publix Post Race Celebration Join us for the PUBLIX Runners Banquet of bagels, bananas etc with awards, music and more.

Step Up Challenge Prize Money Rules Register online prior to Wed Feb 6 to assure accuracy. You must designate a school at registration. WARNING :Race day entries may not get registered!! Parents may run for a school. You may only run for one school. All schools, public and private, all counties, Clay, Duval, St Johns are eligible. Results will be announced the following week.
